Chemistry - Minor Program
Chemistry is the study of matter. Students will expand on foundational courses in general and organic chemistry by choosing upper-level courses that allow them to focus on analytical, biochemical, or medicinal chemistry content. Additionally, students will develop a strong foundation in using the scientific method to design experiments and/or build mathematical models, to analyze quantitative and qualitative data, and to draw appropriate conclusions from the data. The chemistry minor provides an opportunity for students to explore the varied disciplines in chemistry. It cannot be taken by those majoring in biochemistry.
